                                          Coming to Visit Israel

The combination of the Israeli weather and the warm welcome Prince
William received managed, in a short time, to defrost the reserved Brit. It

seemed that William quite enjoyed sweating in the Israeli sun, meeting

(our) best youth, climbing to the lifeguard post and even eating a Hebrew
watermelon on Tel Aviv’s beach. The Duke of Cambridge visited the Yad

Vashem Holocaust Museum today, left a letter in the visitors’ book and

then in Jerusalem met with the Prime Minister and his wife, and the
President. He later continued to a soccer court in Yafo, took off his suit

and tie and took to the court. Very quickly it turned out the Brits did well

in sending William Windsor here and Harry Kane to the World Cup. From
there the guest went to the home of Britain’s ambassador, where a group of

Israeli men and women waited for him, and enjoyed the guest’s number
one skill – joint pictures and small talk. But everyone who met Britain’s

king-to-be today knows there’s one thing even more important than the

visit, the one that came up in every meeting or conversation, the one
because of which a mysterious gap appears in William’s schedule every

night. With all due respect to the holy land, a bit more important things are

taking place in Russia’s stadiums right now.
