Messi isn’t Coming

It was supposed to happen this week – Leo Messi and his friends at the

Argentina (soccer) team, were supposed to come and play in Jerusalem in

front of thirty thousand viewers. After a lot of pressure, by the BDS and
anti-Israeli organizations, and after (people) threatened some of the

players, Argentina decided not to come. Israel is angry at Miri Regev, the

Minister of Sports, who made this game a big event in honor of Israel’s
seventieth celebrations, and maybe this is what all the mess is about.

There’s no point in talking about Messi, who was very highly regarded up

until now, but (we) can say it’s all our loss.
