DIFFERENT TYPE OF KNIFE & HAND TOOL GRINDING TECHNIQUES
• Hollow Grind - creating a characteristic concave, beveled
cutting edge
• Scandi Grind - is basically one of the easiest ways of turning
a piece of steel into a knife
• Sabre Grind - flat primary edge bevel in the middle of the
knife and continues along to the edge
• Chisel Ground Blade Edge - has an edge grind on only one
side of the blade
• Flat Grind - begins at the blade’s spine
