Summary

The ADDIE training model serves as a structured framework used by
instructional designers and training developers to create effective
        and efficient learning experiences.
ADDIE is an acronym that represents the five steps of the model:
Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation.
The ADDIE model functions by following a systematic process for
instructional design. It starts with analyzing the learning needs and
objectives, moves on to designing the instructional materials,
developing the content, implementing the training, and finally
        evaluating its effectiveness.
The ADDIE model holds value as a widely recognized and accepted
learning model. Its structured approach ensures the creation of clear
and effective training programs, making it an essential skill for
instructional designers and a common requirement in job
        descriptions.
The ADDIE model was initially developed by Florida State University in
1975 for the purpose of creating instructional systems for military
training. It has since evolved and become a prevalent model used in
        various types of training.
While some learning professionals argue that the ADDIE model is
outdated due to its rigidity, it remains widely used in corporate and
higher education settings. Nowadays, it is often adapted with an
iterative approach, allowing for continuous improvement by revisiting
the analysis phase to enhance the final product.
