It was in Sevilha that Baltazar got
into contact with other artists such
as Francisco de Zurbarain and Juan
del Castillo. Later he worked as a
painter and masterpiece judge in
Bragança‘s house under the court of
King D. João IV and King D. Afonso
VI. He died in Óbidos in 1674.
