Underway on the Cruise
Sunday, 09 September 2018
After processing for the cruise by going through USA cus-
toms in Vancouver (Canada), we boarded Holland Ameri-
ca’s ms Noordam. Before we could get underway, everyone
attended the mandatory evacuation drill.
It took great negotiating by Cruise Specialists & equally
great concessions by the cruiseline but, during dinner, IFYEs
were allowed to sit at any table in a designated area.
IFYE tradition and part of the fun at meals is sitting with dif-
ferent people. Each person has an interesting story. How
often can you comfortably visit with so many people from
multiple countries, cultures, backgrounds in a matter of
hours?
