After a ten-minute intermission (not enough time
for a bathroom break), Mr. Fantastic Voyage,
Coolio came on stage. Coolio had one of the
stronger sets of the evening while being
accompanied by some great musicians…a live
drummer, a saxophone player, and a guitar
player. Pretty darn cool! The set closed with
“Gangsta’s Paradise” and by that time, the AVA
venue was at near capacity.

Coolio took the time to exit the stage and mingle
with the crowd, showing love to all he could
reach. Coolio made it a point to comment on
reminding us to “Love our F#$@%n neighbors.”
Ok, to simply love our neighbors would have
sufficed for me.
