Har Mar Superstar recently played at a small club in Philly and he kept his clothes on for the

whole set. If that surprises you, then you must be fortunate enough to be familiar with the

incredible singer -- who is also sometimes known as Sean Tillmann. Those who have had the
chance to see Har Mar Superstar perform usually experience a set that builds full of energy,

and as it does, he gradually strips to his underwear. While some might debate if he has the

makings of an underwear model, few would debate that he is a top-notch showman with a

voice to sell out places much bigger than a small club.

On this night, Har Mar was donning a suit and on his way through a tour paying tribute to the

soul great Sam Cooke. The idea was rooted in his life-long love of the singing legend, which
led to a tribute show in his home-base of Minneapolis. What was meant to be just one night,

sold out so quickly that it turned into many nights. Those sold out too. So Har Mar Superstar

and his band took it on the road! It happened similarly in Philly – the scheduled show sold

out quickly, so a second late-afternoon show was added. It’s not a typical time to go out to a

local music bar, but it didn’t stop the crowd from filling the room to capacity at the early set
too.
