As he dressed up and honored one of his musical heroes, Mr. Superstar needed to tone-down
his normally eruptive approach to the music, adding on a smoothness that worked well for

the dynamic and very talented vocalist. He had plenty of power when needed, belting out

the climatic moments in his own approach to Cooke. Clearly, he was having fun and the band

too. He fronts a show with great character and stage presence…like the funny guy in a group
of friends who is quick with occasional quips, but also secretly has a voice to blow everyone

away.

It’s hard to not enjoy such timeless music as Sam Cooke, especially when entrusted to a

devoted fan of it who has the talent to take it on. Here is a video of him performing “Lady,
You Shot Me,” his original song named after the last words Sam Cooke spoke:

Har Mar Superstar also offers an incredible, entertaining set of music of his own, full of heavy

grooves, sweeping soulful passages, and an unpredictably wild show. Seeing his take on Sam
Cooke is something not to be missed, but I truly am excited to see one of Har Mar Superstar’s

legendary shows of his own music next!
