MW: You were awarded ‘Best Female Blues Vocalist’ and ‘Best Emerging Artist’ at the UK
Blues Awards in 2016. That must've been a huge boost for you professionally as well as
psychologically. What did you think of it at the time?
RD: I didn't think I'd win at all, especially as the ‘Female Vocalist’ as there were some really heavy-
hitters around. So, I was absolutely over the moon! Yeah, it was a massive boost for me.
