Tonight, Ashley was also serving “double duty” in
that she was not only performing her high-energy
set but would additionally be singing the “National
Anthem” – which is something that Ashley is very
accustomed to doing as she has sung the anthem
for many events, including the NFL, MLB, and
NASCAR.

Ashley delivered a dynamic and physical show,
working both sides of the massive stage of the
AK-Chin. She dazzled the audience with a
plethora of her original songs, punctuated with a
few select popular covers. There was a
particulary moving moment when Ashley asked
those veterans in attendance to stand and be
acknowledged. Then she had the entire crowd
stand and join her in an acapella rendition of “God
Bless America.” Keeping with the evening’s
mood, Ashley also sang her own original military
tribute song, “Red, White & Blue,” which she
wrote when she first launched her career as a
young teen.

After her set wrapped, Ashley had a quick
wardrobe change to wrangle, catch her breath,
and launch into our nation’s esteemed anthem.
Ashley delivered the anthem in her usual flawless
manner, with her voice ringing out strong and
clear, resounding powerfully throughout AK-Chin
Pavilion. The audience exploded in enthusiastic
applause, and everyone was on their feet as a
wave of palpable patriotism and American pride
swept like wildfire through the crowd.
