Fresh off the Grand Ole Opry stage, Eddie
Montgomery of Montgomery Gentry was up next!
Eddie has launched a solo career (tragically, his
partner in Montgomery Gentry, Troy Gentry, was
killed in a helicopter crash in 2017), and his debut
album “Ain’t No Closing Me Down” was recently
released. The 12-track album, which also pays
tribute to his bandmate Gentry, is available now
exclusively at Walmart.
Eddie definitely kept the momentum going as he
took to the stage draped in a very flamboyant
patriotic scarf. Eddie is quite the showman and he
connected well with the audience. He spoke about
music, his career, and also, his politics.
His band was impressive – a group of well-honed
and accomplished musicians! Eddie and his band
performed a scintillating set – the perfect segue
way to herald our headliner for the
evening…Aaron Lewis!
