Marie Osmond has been focusing her childhood
love of opera in her new album and symphonic
tour. I had heard that she performed a concert
special, ”An Evening with Marie,” which has
already aired on Oct. 1st, 2021, on BYUtv. It was
filmed earlier this year surrounded by the red
rocks of Tuacahn Amphitheatre near St. George,
Utah.
The special offered a sample from her 17-song
album, “Unexpected,” that was released early,
because I saw it for sale at the merch table. Marie
Osmond sings a mix of classical, opera, and
Broadway tunes, of which she also performed
some songs at tonight’s show.
