(con’t) certain degree. Why? Because art is, in the end, enjoyed by individuals. Even 70,000 people in an

arena are still experiencing the music individually. Furthermore, so much of music today is all about

everything else besides the music. Artists must market their music, of course, but so much of it is just about
showing off rather than building a connection with people. There’s another side, for example, where artists
are caught up in huge scandals that affect a person’s attitude towards the music. I’ve always felt that music
is the strongest means to connect to people – my goal, in essence, is just to get people to truly listen. I
strongly believe they will find value in what they hear.

TB: Looking ahead, what does 2024 hold for Ross Harding?

RH: As a solo artist, as well as with my band, there is constant pursuit of goals and progress. That takes the

form of shows, tours, music releases, and much more. I’m just really fulfilled by this work and will keep doing

what I do and sharing that with as many people as I can.
