Next up was Switchfoot, and I returned to the pit for their opening three songs.
However, I was so caught up in the performance of "Stars," a personal
favorite from my running playlist, that I momentarily forgot to photograph
them when I found myself jumping, dancing, and singing along instead! Jon
Foreman engaged the crowd during the third song, and the atmosphere was
electric as fans recorded the moment with their phones. Justin Furstenfeld
from Blue October joined them for "Dare You to Move," and I recorded the
entire performance. They ended their set with the powerful "Meant to Live,"
leaving me wanting more after their brief 45-minute show.

Afterward, I went backstage to grab some water with Kuya Mario, where I
had a brief encounter with Jerome Fontamilla, who plays keys and guitar for
Switchfoot. I excitedly reached for my phone to capture the moment, only to
find my battery had died!
