LS: What is the best piece of advice and the worst piece
of advice you’ve been given as an independent artist?

1K Pson: The best piece of advice that I was given as an
independent artist was to stay consistent no matter what
people are doing around you and stick to what you do best.
Sooner or later you’re going to master it, and once you do,
there’s no limit to where it can take you. The worst advice I’ve
gotten as an independent artist was maybe you should quit. If
I listened, I wouldn’t be where I am today.

LS: What advice would you give to someone who is
seeking to carve out a career in music?

1K Pson: Keep God 1st, stay consistent, and perfect your craft.
1 million people can believe in you, but it still won’t matter if
you don’t believe in yourself. Push yourself as far as you can
go and then keep striving to improve. Also, learn the music
business as a whole. Don’t be just an artist.
