Out went the lights. Then stage started to quiver with dark, staticky stage lights while the band intro
started to play, heralding signs of something menacing. The band came on stage…then it happened.
Tribulance began to play track 8, “Oblivious,” from their “The Aftermath Of Lies” sophomore album.
And like an artillery round landing near me, Brandon Lee’s drum caused me a momentary
Arrhythmia. Yeah, I got startled. Damn you, drummer!
Song after song, I could swear they kept turning up the volume a notch. The band performed
“Raptures End,” “Cause and Effect,” “Betray,” and “Conflict,” all from the album “The Aftermath of
Lies.” All screeching guitars were courtesy of Mr. Sal Flores. I really like his style of playing, as no
two songs sound the same, although all songs are from the same heart. There were some guitar
issues at the beginning of the show due to an amp going out or a faulty cord, but Gino and Brandon
kept playing on without missing a breath.
