Chris: Just believe in yourself. If you really, really truly love it…especially if you have a unique
perspective, if there is one facet of music you enjoy, just live it, breathe it, take it to the nth
degree. Think about people like Prince. He was like a whole universe unto himself. I’m
constantly blown away by anything he did. He never gave up. He never compromised. He
was selfish with his vision. If you really believe in yourself, just be selfish with your vision
and follow it as long and hard as you can.

JP: Of all the towns, cities, areas of the country you’ve played over the years, is there
one that stands out as your favorite or favorite club?

Chris: I always go back to the Baltimore area. It’s just dirty rock and roll in Baltimore.
Baltimore is just loud and so much fun. One show, we got to play the M3 preparty last year
at a club called Sonoma’s. It was absolutely standing room only -- a completely sweaty, loud
              night of rock and roll.

JP: Chris, I thank you so much for your time. I always like to give the artists I interview
to add anything or cover a topic they feel I may have neglected. Is there anything you
              would like to add?

Chris: We were talking about the industry earlier just for a little bit and we’re constantly
musing about where everything is today. The music industry seems to be like the wild, wild
west. There’s no big gatekeeper, like MTV anymore, taking the next rock band and pushing
them out there, making them famous. It’s really better for us. We set out with no expectations.
We wanted to be sure we liked each other and could play together in a room. As it began to
grow and to make this thing and to write these songs, the dream for us is to just play together,
to travel together, to keep creating music. We all have day jobs. We all have families. To just
be able to do that is enough. We already feel like we’ve made it. I think the days of bands
having their own Leer Jets and million-dollar music videos are a thing of the past. We just
enjoy what we do and that is the most important thing with this industry the way it is.
