Brother and The Hayes is an Americana band that is fronted by siblings Jennie Hayes
Kurtz and David Bingaman and was formed in 2016 in Nashville. Since that time, they
have released “The Dead End” EP in 2017, and their brand-new album, “Tennessee
Nights,” in March of 2019.

I was able to catch them as they were passing through Colorado visiting family at
the tail-end of their tour. They were on a tiny stage in the corner of a whiskey house
called Axe and the Oak in the historic Ivywild School marketplace. They could have
easily been background music as people were visiting with their friends and family,
but quickly grabbed the attention of the crowd. By the second song, many couples
were hopping out of their seats to dance.
