KP: No doubt! In closing, I have a two-part question that I like to ask the independent artists that I
interview: What defines success in music for you…and what advice would you give to someone trying to
break into today’s independent music scene?

KM: Success for me means keeping my eyes on the prize. I hope to get signed to a record deal and go on tour
around the world. That’s my dream. Life to me is all about experiences. You work towards your goals and try
to achieve them. I have failed time and time and time again. I’ve learned from my mistakes and am now
tweaking the process, so the mistakes become fewer. It’s when you stop trying that it’s over, and you fall
into the norm. Sorry, I’m not normal. LOL! As far as advice to budding musicians, I’d say to ask questions and
seek advice. Pick the brains of your peers and watch what works. And finally, listen to your Fairy Rock Mother.
She knows the ins and outs and the screams and shouts. Peace!

KP: LOL! Well said! Here, here! Thank you, Kenny. It’s always a pleasure to catch up with one of my favorite
independent rock bands and its extraordinary singer. I’ve always been struck by how Jäger personifies the
true indie warrior-spirit and no doubt has the right stuff to not only exist -- but thrive -- in today’s dog-eat-
dog music industry. Your Fairy Rock Mother believes in YOU!

KM: Thank you, Kiki Plesha and ION Indie Magazine for this great opportunity. I’m so thankful to have you in
our army. Take care and keep on rockin’!
