MH: And for those who haven’t seen you live before, what can they expect from your shows?
Zach: I think what people can really expect from our shows, especially as of lately, is a pretty new to the
scene full-forced, 7-member reggae band. We have a wall of sound that runs deep, filled with harmonies,
distinct instruments, and every sound you hear is being made live on the stage. We have been working
diligently on our stage presence and love to engage frequently with the crowd and our fans. My little mantra,
or when I'm on stage, is that motion creates emotion! We want our audience to be as engaged and excited
as our music.
MH: Is there any show(s) in your mind that sticks out? Best? Worst?
Adam Chavez (bass): The first time we played…Collie Weed at the Rialto was one of my favorites! And of
course, AZ Roots! it was so cool to play at the same event as most of the bands I love!
C-Los (drums): ZeeCeeKeely’s best show was AZ Roots Festival. That really brought a lot of people together,
such as Peter Dante, and we met a lot of new fans in the reggae community. ZeeCeeKeely’s worst show was
when on our 2nd tour. We drove 15 hours to Utah, and they didn't let our bass player play because he wasn't
21 years old. One of our band members had to step in and learn bass parts in order for us to jam.
