RB: The tattoo on my wrist is technically a treble clef,
but it also has a bass clef woven in as well. I think I
just liked the thought of having both scales together
since that’s kind of what makes up music and
ultimately, life, as well…treble being all of the highs
and bass bringing in all of the lows.
KM: Something about Riley Biederer that people
would be surprised to learn is…
RB: I was a competitive gymnast for 13 years and
won two state championships before I started
pursuing music as a career!
KM: You just dropped a new single this August,
“Heartbreak Back,” with EDM DJ and producer
Frank Walker. Your voice seems to flow perfectly
with his style of dance music. This track will be
on some turntables for sure. How did the
collaboration come about?
RB: It was awesome! Frank is great. My friend Ryan
set up the session, who was, at the time, managing
my friend Scott Effman, who is one of my best friends
and also a co-writer on the song. He wrote my entire
EP “To Me and You” with me. We all sat down and
started writing, and once we hooked onto the vibe, it
all came together really, really, fast.
KM: If asked, what is the best piece of advice you
would give to an aspiring artist?
RB: Put yourself out there as much as possible
performing, creating and meeting as many people as
you can. You never know who’s gonna see you and
be that one person to take you to the next level. It’s
so important. Exposure, exposure, exposure!
KM: Riley, thank you so much for your time and
