The endless Summer boys from Aberdeen, Maryland, started out in
July 1995, as the brothers Howi (lead vocals, guitar) and Donald
(drums) Spangler got rocking in their mom's basement. Ballyhoo!
originally started out as a trio, adding a bass player, a position that
will have had 3 different players come and go, with that slot currently
being filled by Nick Lucera. The band really began to gel in 2000 when
they added Scott Vandrey (keyboards, vocals) to back up Howi's
vocals and fill in their sound with B3 and other keyboard melodies.
