The format of the concert is
unlike anything I’ve experienced.
Each artist came out and played
an individual acoustic set, then
towards the end, they all came
out and played an entire set filled
with laughter, smiles, and lifting
the name of Jesus. It gave a
beautiful sense that this wasn’t
just a concert, it was a worship
session.

Mac Powell isn’t a new name
when it comes to Christian music,
with a career spanning almost
three decades, he’s won
numerous awards and toured
around the world. The singer got
his start with Third Day, a
contemporary Christian rock
band forming in 1996, which
achieved almost immediate
success. With almost twenty
albums and three solo albums,
Powell has amassed a large
group of followers. In 2018, Third
Day broke up with each artist
going their own way. Since then,
Powell has had a successful solo
career with many shows and
tours. Powell played several
songs and then played a set of
only requested songs, letting the
audience pick from his catalog of
hits.
