TB: I have read a few reviews that compare your song Keep You Like A Secret (Tidal Wave) to
something from Amy Winehouse. What are your thoughts when you read those comparisons?

WRO: Amy was a genius, so the fact that people find her brand of brilliance in our music is a very
high compliment. That being said, we’d like to think that we don't need to be compared to other artists
for people to relate and find themselves in our music. It's a double-edged sword. We’d like to think
we are carving our own path as artists, yet we do appreciate that people capture Amy-esque nuances
         in our song.

TB: What is the story behind Keep You Like A Secret (Tidal Wave)?

WRO: Keep You Like a Secret, at its core, has a very personal message. While it's definitely a hungry
and howling cry of passion and longing, it is really a love letter from River to Frank. It encapsulates
the passion we have for each other and for this project. The fact that we get to share both with one
another, meaning our lives and our music, is beautiful. We would like to think that we will always keep
that hunger and passion and longing alive through our love for each other and through our music.

TB: I read that River recorded a couple tracks in 2017 but they are now just being released. What
was the decision to release them now?

WRO: I never had a definitive vision for what I wanted those songs to be back in 2017. I was purely
writing for pleasure. Those songs never really had a platform to be heard and, in my mind, they were
great tracks that deserved an audience. Sharing them now feels really cool because it's like letting
the listener in on a version of myself that I've lost touch with. I'd like to think that even though I am
not the same person as I was when I wrote these songs, that I've made those versions of me tangible
for the audience and I think they're really going to enjoy these songs.

TB: The EP Whiskey Hotel Tango was released last year. What’s in store for your fans in 2024?

WRO: We are already in pre-production for the next EP, Romeo Bravo Bravo Tango. We hope to
have that out by June at the latest, and then with a little luck, Oscar Bravo Juliett, will be released
         before the close of 2024.

And of course, we are going to keep playing more shows. There are a bunch of cities we are working
on hitting in 2024, so keep your ears up!

You can follow wht.rbbt.obj on most major social media outlets and can purchase their EP on
Bandcamp. I enjoyed the EP and look forward to new music from the group later this year.
