MH: What has been the biggest obstacle

for your band?

Rob: Vince and Damon live in Tempe, and
I am in Tucson. Driving back and forth
spending 3-4 hours in a car can be daunting
at times. Fortunately for us these days,
technology can save us time by rehearsing

at home and being prepared for the next
time we do play out or rehearse. Damon
records all of our rehearsals and emails the
playback for us to hear and rehearse with
through my laptop.

MH: What's the plan for the Freight?
Anything in the near future?

Rob: Our plan is to continue to write and
create good music. We will play some
shows around Arizona and get out to Cali to
rock. If the good Lord’s willing and the

creeks don’t rise, we will see you out there.

MH: What advice would you give bands
following your footsteps?

Rob: Play what YOU love. Do not write
music that you think others will respond to.
Let your response be the only one that
matters. Everything else will follow.
