Alice Cooper was in town once again and another
fantastic show it was! Alice Cooper, Mr. Shock
Rock himself, blasted back to Tucson on his “Too

Close for Comfort” tour. He brought the latest
rendition of his nightmare and carnival show to
AVA Amphitheater.

Although seventy-five, like Mick and The Rolling
Stones, there seems to be no end in touring for

Alice. His shows are not just a rock show but an
opera of the comical and macabre sense.

Alice hit the stage wearing his custom black
stretchy spandex, black pirate fluff shirt, his red
velvet coat and black top hat, along with his iconic
Cooper belt – which is somewhat reminiscent of a

championship wrestling belt from the 1400’s era.
