Alice came out on stage not messing around
with “Lock Me Up,” followed by “Welcome to
the Show” and “I'm Eighteen.” His band of
many years consists of Nita Strauss (guitars) –
who strutted her stuff all over the stage, along
with Ryan Roxie and Tommy Henriksen,
longtime guitarists that complement Nita’s
showmanship, Chuck Garric on bass, and
Glen Sobel pounding the drums.
Alice performed his biggest hits like "No More
Mr. Nice Guy" and "Only Women Bleed.” Some
of his obscure songs like "Snakebite" and "Lost
In America" were covered as well.
Sheryl Cooper, who along with being the wife
of Alice Cooper is a dancer and stage
performer, added her talent during a couple of
the songs during show. In addition to regularly
performing on tour with her husband, she
teaches, choreographs, produces, and directs
children's dance and theatre in the Phoenix,
Arizona, area. For this performance, Sheryl
Cooper played a wind-up doll and a psychotic
nurse putting Alice in a strait jacket. Her mime-
like performance added to the fun and cheeky
creepiness of the festivities.
Alice Cooper is so much fun to watch and his
shows are always wildly entertaining. I’m
looking forward to his return to Arizona!
