Chris: I write the songs with Pete and then Eric writes the lyrics. It seems to work well this way.
JP: What are your rehearsals generally like? Do you have a set time each week in which you practice or are
rehearsals more spontaneous?
Sleepless Serenade: We practice weekly for several hours each time. During that time, we run our set and make
time to work on new material. There’s really no set schedule.
JP: What has been your biggest challenge as a band? Have you been able to overcome that challenge? If so,
how?
Sleepless Serenade: The biggest challenge was putting together the right lineup and finding likeminded people.
It’s not just anyone willing to put aside their lives to pursue this dream.
JP: What's your ultimate direction for your band? Are you seeking fame and fortune?
Sleepless Serenade: Well, while fame and fortune would certainly be nice, making the music we love and
sustaining a life doing so is what keeps us going, hopefully reaching others in the process, as well.
JP: Is there anyone you'd like to acknowledge for offering financial or emotional support?
Sleepless Serenade: Our families and our dear friend Carmine Appice…and the entire team behind us.
