Santa Barbara, California-born DJ, record producer, instrumentalist, and remixer

              Seven Lions, born Jeff Montalvo, caught the attention of the industry after winning
              a Beatport contest in 2012 with his rendition of Above & Beyond’s “You Got to Go.”



              Combining the styles of trance, melodic dubstep, glitch hop, and electro house

              music,  he  has  released  6  EPs,  numerous  singles,  and  official  remixes  for  record
              labels such as Casablanca Records, Republic Records, and Monstercat.


              He has toured extensively with Porter Robinson and Krewella, refining productions

              and performances while bending genres.


              His  2   EP  “Days  to  Come”  was  hailed  by  Vibe  Magazine  as  one  of  their  “Top
                    nd
              Electronic Albums of 2012.” “Days to Come” peaked at number 10 on the Billboard

              Dance/Electronic Albums chart. His next EP, “Worlds Apart,” hit number 76 on The
              Billboard 200. The EP’s track “Don’t Leave” with Ellie Goulding made it on the UK

              Single’s Chart in 2014.



              Seven Lions has performed at such festivals as SXSW, Ultra Music Festival, Electric

              Daisy Carnival, and Camp Bisco. In 2014, he was nominated for “America’s Best
              DJ,” a competition held by DJ Times.



              Senior Photojournalist for ION Indie Magazine Daniel Johnson brought his camera
