Serving as the support act for Mick Adams and The Stones at the
Hunger Relief Concert benefitting Sweetwater Mission at the
Mable House Barnes Amphitheatre was Doc Win Band. Doc and the
boys brought their southern country-rock sounds to the stage,
expertly warming up the crowd for the headliner.

Doc Win Band is a locally renown "Buffet" sounding band that is led
by Dr. Stuart Edwin Burnett Jr., AKA, Doc Win. Burnett is an actual
“Doc” – he’s a Georgia-based veterinarian. Doc writes his own
original music and he has both a country (DOCWIN COUNTRY 2014)
and a rock album (DOCWIN ROCK 2015) available, with the
proceeds from these albums going to benefit animal rescue efforts.

The band consists of Doc Win Burnett (rhythm guitar/lead vox),
Russell Burke (lead guitar), Tom Murphy (bass/background vox),
and Brad Dart (drums/percussion). They kept hands clapping and
toes tapping for the rock-ready audience.

Doc Win and the band included in their set several of their own
original songs, including a touching one that memorialized our

country’s Veterans called “Can’t Save Them All,” along with their
own spins on familiar tunes such as “Brown Eyed Girl,” “Jenny (867-

5309),” “Gimme Three Steps,” “Knockin On Heaven’s Door,” and
                        many other popular faves.
