First up was country duo Love & Theft. The band was founded back in 2006 by Stephen Barker
Liles, Eric Gunderson, and Brian Bandas. Brian departed the group in 2011, leaving the duo
alternating as lead singers and acoustic guitarists.
It was the second song of the show that caught my attention, “You Didn’t Want Me.” Such a fun
song! If I had known the words, I would have sung along.
Another favorite Love & Theft tune that I enjoyed that evening was “Gimme Tonight.” The song
reminded me of one of those boy band songs you might hear from Maroon 5 or 98 Degrees. Perhaps
they’re pushing the limits in country music?
