A highlight for me was when Kenny Loggins hit the stage. He overpowered the crowd with the
infectious rhythm of his hits, including “Heart to Heart,” “This is It,” and “Footloose.” Each artist
performed 20 minutes each. Then it happened…BAM! Larry Dunn, Ralph Johnson, Philip Bailey, and
Verdine White of the legendary R&B group Earth, Wind & Fire took the stage, performing some of my
favorite hits of theirs, “In the Stone,” “Sing a Song,” “After the Love Has Gone,” “Let’s Groove” and
“September.” In the end, Earth, Wind & Fire's Philip Bailey and Sheléa performed “Easy Lover” before
the all the artists came together onstage once more for a grand finale performance of the classic hit,
“Living in America.”
