MH: I’ve been enjoying your music videos. Lots there to enjoy! Some of my
recent favorites are ‘Dreaming In Color,’ ‘She’s The One,’ and ‘Somebody
Else’s Everything,’ to name a few. How do you come up with video ideas
to match your music? Do you have a creative writing team, or do you do
             this by yourself?

MM: I’m going to take very little credit for that. We have an amazing content girl
named Jocelyn (@shotbyjocelyn). I have some oddball ideas, but she brings it
all to life. She’s good at seeing a vision right from the get-go. It was funny -- one
time we shot a video at sunset in Los Angeles and the next morning, we played
it for some folks in the biz. Obviously, she had worked on it all night, but she
turned this thing in on no sleep and everyone was like, ‘Damn, you should win
             an Oscar for this!’

MH: You’ve been working and performing with lots of artists. If there is an
opportunity to share the stage, with which band or artist would you like to
             perform?

MM: Oh, man, I’m so grateful for every day I get to play with my heroes. I’d love
to do something with Keith Urban, on the country side. He’s such a monster
guitarist! Or John Mayer. I don’t know why, but I’ve always wanted to play a show
with Def Leppard. That’s my short answer.

MH: What has been the biggest obstacle for you as an independent artist?
