BUILDING FORM

Museum Perjuangan Yogyakarta is a

meaningful piece of architecture, designed

to depict the spirit of Indonesia's struggle.

The building is cylindrical in shape, known as

the “Round Temple,” which symbolizes unity

and strength. The design blends Western and

Eastern architectural styles, with the upper

part resembling ancient Roman buildings as a

symbol of the influence of world civilization,

while the lower part is inspired by Indonesian

temples, reflecting the nation's cultural

roots. This fusion shows the ideals of a

nation firmly rooted in tradition yet open to

global progress.
