ROOF

The roof of the building is in the shape of

an American-style headpiece topped with

five-pointed bamboo poles standing

upright on a globe. The globe itself sits on

top of five traps. The shape of the

building symbolizes:

1. Indonesia's independence was gained

through the struggle of the

Indonesian people themselves. Not a

gift from other nations.

2. To achieve a just and prosperous

society based on Pancasila and the

1945 Constitution.
