The counting numbers begin with the number 1 and continue without ending
The set of natural numbers : 0 ,1,2,3,………………… and so on .
The set of natural numbers begin with the number 0 and continue without ending
The set of integers numbers : ……………… , -2,-1,0,1,2,…………………….
Remark :
I. The integer zero is neither postive nor negative
II. The non- negative integer are : 0,1,2,3,…………
III. The non- postive integer are : 0 , -1 , -2 , -3 ,………….
IV. The opposite number ( additive inverse ) :
On the number line . any two numbers that are at the same distance from 0 and
on two opposite postions of it are called opposites or additive inverses
