Hyoscine butylbromide
Uses
It is used for the treatment of gastrointestinal spasm,
hypermotility, post-operative vomiting, spastic constipation and
spasm of the urinary tract.
Volatile bases
Beside the above mentioned alkaloids, Solanaceous plants
contain volatile bases e.g. choline, pyrrol, pyrollidine, pyrroline, N-
methyl pyrolline, N-methyl pyrrolidine and trimethylamine.

Two isomers of hyoscyamine N-oxide were isolated from
Atropa belladonna, Hyoscyamus niger and Datura stramonium.
