+ve,-ve & zero ΔGo

Negative ΔGo

       There is a net loss of energy and the reaction goes
       spontaneously to the right, i.e. A is converted to B.
       The reaction is said to be exergonic.

Positive ΔGo:

    There is a net gain of energy and the reaction does not go
       spontaneously from A to B.
       The reaction is said to be endergonic.

ΔGo is zero:

       If ΔG = 0, the reaction is in equilibrium.
