Anise powder
Constituents :

Anise fruits contain :
   1- From 1.5 – 5.0% essential oil : The major constituents of which are :
       anethole (84-93%), methyl-chavicol (estragole, iso-anethole; 0.5-6.0),
       -terpineol (0.1-1.5%), cis-anethole (< 0.5%), and linallol (0.1-1.5%).
   2- Flavonoids, fixed oil, proteins.

Medicinal uses :

       Anise is used in the treatment of dyspepsia and mild inflammation of
the respiratory tract. It is carminative and flavouring agent.
