and dried ginger extracts.
2D-TLC Chromatographic Fingerprinting
for analysis of herbal mixtures
A solvent system is developed to resolve the markers mixture
representing each herb in the mixture.
One and two-dimensional TLC chromatograms are developed under
the same analytical conditions for marker mixture, marketed herbal tea
and authentic herbal tea.
Chromatograms are sprayed separately with specific 1%
panisaldehyde spray reagent.
