HPLC Assay validation

•The assay is not valid unless:
1. the resolution factor between the peaks corresponding to

aristolochicacid II (retention time about 6 minutes ) and
aristolochicacid I (retention time about 7 minutes ) is at
least 3.
2. Inject standard solution six times. The relative standard
deviation of the areas of the peaks is at most 1.5%.
