Powdered and MDI aerosols
qDry powder inhalers (DPIs) have several advantages over
MDIs
• Breath-activated (do not need co-ordination )
• It has no propellant
BUT
• people suffering acute attacks may be unable to produce enough
airflow to use dry-powder inhalers successfully.
