Cascarilla Bark

Botanical origin : It is the dried stem bark of Croton eluteria family

Euphorbiaceae.

. Constituents :

- It contains about 1-3% volatile oil; chief components are p-cymene,
   limonene, myrcene, α-thujone, terpinol, pinene and linalool.

- A crystalline bitter principle cascarillin and 15% resin.

Uses :
- It is used as stimulant and tonic.
Precautions and adverse reactions: No health hazards with the

proper administration of the designated therapeutic dosages.

Mode of administration: Powder, liquid extract or tincture.
