Peppermint

Peppermint is the dried leaves and flowering tops of Mentha piperita L, family Labiatae
(Lamiaceae).

Macroscopic characters:

The Stems are quadrangular.
The leaves are opposite and decussate; apex, acute; margin, sharply serrate.
Odour: characteristic aromatic.
