glycosidic linkage:
-O-glycosides: (OH group) (alc., ald., phenol). Sugar-O-genin
-S-glycosides: (SH group) (Thiol group). Sugar-S-genin
-N-glycosides: (NH group) (Amino group). Sugar-N-genin
-C-glycosides: (CH group) (non-hydrolysable)

- Alcoholic and Phenolic glycosides : The aglycones are alcohols or
phenols
- Aldehydic glycosides : The aglycones are aldehydes.

of hydrocyanic acids.
-Anthracene or anthraquinone glycosides : The aglycones are
