How can I ever be sad,

When I have a dad
Who always makes me glad,

And be a happy lad?
Happiness to life, you add:

Oh, my dear, Dad!

You taught me letter,
And the number better,

You are a great teacher,
Not just a preacher.

Make me do good deeds.

Faith to life,you add:
Oh my dear,dad!

You are always fair

And take very good care.
Many dads I have seen,

Never like you ,have they been.
Difference to life, you add:

Oh my dear dad!
