Teachers Day

             “One child, one teacher, one book and one pen can change the world”

             To commemorate the birth of the second President of India, Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan, who was
             a  philosopher  and  a  great  teacher,  5th  September  is  celebrated  as  Teachers'  Day  every  year.
             Teachers' Day was celebrated with great fervour and exuberance at Shri B.S Mootha Girls Senior
             Secondary School on 5 September 2023. This propitious day was graced by the Principal, co-
             ordinators, teachers and students. The Student Council had planned innovative activities, games
             and  a  cultural  programme  to  mark  the  day.  The  auditorium  vibrated  with  power  packed  and
             sensational performances of the teachers. The skit enacted by the students depicting the efficiency
             of the teacher in moulding the behaviour of the learners in an ideal direction was truly a feast to the
             eyes and ears. The melodious songs, the heart throbbing dances and thrilling games made the day
             the most memorable one for the teachers. All the teachers applauded the overwhelming zeal and
             enthusiasm of the students for making such a glorious event possible.



                                                    Shapes Day

            We see shapes everywhere in our surroundings. “Savvy Shapes Day” was celebrated on 08.09.23
            (Friday) for the children of PreKG to develop and deepen their knowledge about shapes.
            The display board was filled with various geometric shapes.  Fine-motor and Gross-motor activities
            like shape sorting, stamping the favourite shape using sponge, shape matching activity, finding the
            right shape etc., were conducted. Few children disguised like a chessboard, photo frame, flag,
