Navaratri celebrations

The Navaratri celebration at our school was conducted in a grand manner. The whole activity area
in SSVJ block was decked up with lights and colours. Children and teachers participated in the
celebrations with great enthusiasm. The nine-day festival was complete with special Pooja for the
idols displayed in the golu every morning to invoke the blessings of the Gods and Goddesses.
During assembly, children performed cultural events. KG children decked up as various Gods and
Goddesses were arranged as Live Golu dolls in different rows which was a great treat for the eyes
of the audience. The young minds were fascinated by the story of Mahishasura Mardini, which
highlighted the moral "Good ultimately triumphs".
