.  The  Chief  Guest,  in  his  inspiring  speech,  emphasized  the
                                              significance of instilling values in education for effective service to the
                                              nation.    A  special  announcement  was  made,  by  the  Principal,
                                              regarding the Dr. Ravada Jaya Memorial Award. Dr. Jaya Venugopal
                                              was the former Principal of our school from 1979 to 1987. In her
                                              memory, her family members have instituted the Dr. Ravada Jaya

                                              Memorial Award, of Rs. One lakh to a deserving, meritorious student
                                              from SBSM. Ms. M. Sakshi of class XII, was awarded the Dr. Ravada
                                              Jaya Memorial Award for being the best student of the year 2023-24.
                                              Artwork done by SBSM students was displayed at the Auditorium and
                                              was  well  appreciated  by  the  visitors.  The  Primary  Cultural
                                              Extravaganza, themed “Nature and Numbers – Prakruthi ke Rang,”

                                              featured an enchanting Invocation Dance portraying Lord Vishnu's
                                              avatars, a captivating dance performance by tiny tots emphasizing
                                              the  importance  of  numbers,  and  a  heartfelt  lyrical  performance
                                              dedicated to planets and elements. A potent social message was
                                              conveyed  through  mime,  emphasizing  the  'Power  of  One.  The
                                              Cultural  Fiesta  for  Senior  Students,  themed  “Nari  shakthi,”
                                              showcased  students'  prowess  through  captivating  performances,
                                              including an invocation dance as a thanksgiving to deities, a tribute to

                                              silent heroines and their legacies, an ode to the Chipko movement, a
                                              musical  dance  drama  displaying  the  resilience  and  grace  of
                                              Draupathi,  modern  mime  creating  social  awareness  on  women
                                              empowerment,  enchanting  and  mesmerizing  UV  dance,  Western
                                              dance related to the aura of womanhood, and a musical interlude.
                                              The day concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks and the National
                                              Anthem, leaving an indelible mark on everyone present.
